The quality grading of finnraccoon skins is based upon of several factors such as the density of underwool and guard hair, guard hair length, silkiness and resilience.
|

Quality
SAGA skins are graded into two primary categories, SAGA Royal and SAGA Superior (= SAGA). During this stringent grading process, skins of lower quality (low grades) are eliminated.
Guard Hair
For all SAGA qualities, several factors are taken into consideration in the quality grading: e.g. length of guard hair, density and silkiness.
Underwool
For all SAGA qualities, underwool is also important; density and resilience are key factors.
