Saga Furs is a pioneer in initiating, monitoring and reporting responsible practices that promote sustainable development. We introduced the first and still most extensive corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy in the fur business. Saga Furs joined the United Nations Global Compact Initiative in 2008.

With transparency at the core, the Saga Furs CSR policy spans all our business activities—from fur breeding to end consumer—and includes non-business initiatives that reflect our concerns for society.

The Global Reporting Initiative is the sustainability-reporting framework Saga Furs uses. It consists of three pillars of responsibility:
