51st Kastoria Fur Fair closes with strong trade momentum

The 51st Kastoria International Fur Fair was held from 16–19 April and is now established as the world’s largest exclusively fur-focused fair. The event concluded with strong commercial activity, reinforcing its leading position in the global market. Buyer–exhibitor engagement showed increased interest, with a clear focus on new partnerships.

Around 930 trade visitors attended, including buyers from 41 countries. More than 93 exhibitors participated. Most of them were fur and fur-related companies representing the full production chain, including designers, manufacturers, fur accessory and supporting product companies, dressing companies, and fur traders.

Fashion Gala Show “The Silent Evolution” featured 12 international brands

On the evening of the first day, the Fashion Gala Show “The Silent Evolution” took place. The show opened with Saga Furs as Grand Sponsor, presenting two fox creations with an architectural and futuristic aesthetic. This was followed by 12 international brands—Estel, Casiani, Tsoukas Bros, Alessio Mognini Italia, Dita Furs, PT Furs, Active Sable House, Manzari, Giorgio Manzari, Manakas Frankfurt, Balli, and Luxor Furs—showcasing collections defined by strong design identity and commercial appeal.

Over 200 industry leaders gather at Saga Furs’ cocktail reception

On the second day, Saga Furs together with Unicorn Fur Farms hosted a cocktail reception for more than 200 attendees. The well-attended and highly successful event brought together international buyers, exhibitors, and key industry stakeholders. Among the attendees were Greek fur farmers, as well as a Finnish delegation that included representatives from the Finnish Fur Breeders Association and the Finnish Fur Trade Association. The event was honored by the presence of Members of the Hellenic Parliament, as well as Vice Minister of Development and representatives from the Ministry of Development.

Overall, the 51st edition of KIFF confirmed its role as a key international meeting point, combining strong commercial results, broad international participation, and solid industry momentum.
