Blue Foxes met good demand

The Saga Furs March auction concluded today with the sale of 410,000 Blue Fox pelts. The pelts were almost 80% sold with firm prices, mainly to China. Blue Shadow foxes were basically all sold with increasing prices, while Silver foxes, mutation foxes and Finnraccoons met relatively selective demand.

The Blue Fox Top Lot was bought by Mr. Meng Xiangze from China, the owner of Zaoqiang Shuohao Fur Fashion Garment Company.

The online auction between 3-10 March attracted more than 100 buyers from all the main markets. Compared to the first online auction one year ago, the number of sold pelts doubled and the value of brokered sales was tripled.

The next auction will be held in June 2021.
