Saga Furs continues to shape the future of fur in Türkiye. In January, educational seminars were held as part of a young designers’ competition organized in collaboration with the Turkish Fur Association. The students were given an opportunity to explore responsible fur production, innovation, and craftsmanship.
Saga Furs also introduced Turkish industry professionals to its Aurora 2.0 collection and new, commercially viable fur techniques.
Turkish design students explore fur as a sustainable material
Saga Furs is proud of its commitment to supporting the next generation of designers. As part of a young designers’ competition for the Best Fur Accessory, Saga Furs hosted a series of educational seminars for Turkish design students. The competition is organized in collaboration with the Turkish Fur Association.

During the seminars, Saga Furs introduced students to its auction activities and the role of the Saga Furs Creative Hub in supporting innovation, craftsmanship, and responsible design within the fur industry.
Students demonstrated strong interest in the ethical foundations of fur production, as well as in environmental sustainability and full traceability across the value chain.
Aurora 2.0 in Türkiye
Saga Furs organized a presentation of Aurora collection for fur dealers and their clients, along with customized meetings for premium brands.
Commercial manufacturers are seeking new, easily scalable ways to use fur in mass production, and therefore showed particular interest in samples made using airgalloon techniques on fox fur.
Companies operating in the luxury segment paid greater attention to unique designs requiring a high level of craftsmanship in both mink and fox.
The collection of fur samples and garments was very well received, and many companies created prototypes based on the fur techniques that interested them.
