Saga Furs March auction continued on Tuesday with the same active atmosphere that was present on Monday. Prices strengthened from recent international levels, and the overall clearance was 75%.
The 1,1 million Brown mink pelts on offer today were sold mainly to China with strong support from Russia, Europe and all other markets. The classic collection was 100% sold under strongly increasing prices, while the velvets in smaller sizes met some price resistance from the market.
The auction continues tomorrow with the selling of Black and Mahogany mink.
