Saga Furs’ June online auction continued today with the offering of Silverblue, Sapphire and North American mutation mink pelts. The second day of the sale followed the same positive pattern as yesterday in terms of clearances and price development. China was again the dominant market with good support from South Korea.
On offer were 524,000 Silverblue mink pelts which achieved high clearances and remarkably increasing prices compared to March results, and in some sections also compared to most recent levels.
The Sapphire mink collection on offer, was close to 100% sold at increasing prices. The day ended with unique North American mutations, among them Lavender and Blue Iris mink, which got positive results and 100% clearance.
The auction will continue tomorrow with the sale of Brown mink pelts.
