Craftsmanship and sustainability – rising new opportunities

Saga Furs’ booths at CHIC Shenzhen both featured a full assortment of Saga® Fox, Mink and Finnraccoon skins. A collection of technique samples created at Saga Furs Design Center introduced fur innovation and the potential of using fur. In addition, Saga also showed 3 mini capsule collections designed by Chinese designers using the inspiration from Saga techniques.

Fur made onto or mixed with beautiful woven fabrics imitates and translates them through new colors and classic furrier techniques. By knitting, fur automatically becomes light and soft. A fun, young and sporty mood has apparently sneaked into several Saga samples. Fur is sewn on leather and denim, stripes in bright colors and alternate furs are built into natural mink & fox colors, presenting an overall sporty feel without compromising the lux of the fur.

Saga Furs booth was a bustle of activity as clothing producers, designers and people from the fashion and related areas examined the technique swatches, the extensive assortment of fur types and finished garments.

Covid-19 pandemic is bringing the biggest challenge of the century, but it also creates many new opportunities. We at Saga Furs are willing to share our achievements in fur craftsmanship and fur sustainability with our partners. We look forward to overcoming the difficulties and taking advantage of new opportunities in the Chinese market.
