Saga Furs at Première Vision – 20,000 fashion pros gather in Paris

Real fur was placed alongside the key textiles, colours and material innovations shaping the Autumn–Winter 2027–2028 season. The Première Vision fashion trend jury selected seven Saga Furs fur technique samples for the trend area, the busiest and most closely followed part of the show.

Première Vision Paris brought the international fashion industry together at Paris Nord Villepinte from 1 to 3 September 2026. More than 900 exhibitors presented their latest materials, services and innovations. The event attracted around 20,000 fashion professionals from across the world.

Première Vision Paris is one of the international fashion industry’s leading sourcing events. It connects material suppliers and manufacturers with designers, collection managers, creative teams, sourcing specialists and decision-makers from fashion brands and luxury houses.

Fur took centre stage in the trend area

This year, seven Saga Furs technique samples were selected by the Première Vision fashion jury for the show’s trend area, the busiest and most closely followed part of the show.

“The colours and themes of the season are determined by a jury, which also decides which samples are accepted into the trend area. Having seven Saga Furs samples selected this year is a significant achievement,” says Jan Erik Carlson, International Business Developer at Saga Furs.

The trend area presents the main material directions for the Autumn–Winter 2027–2028 season. Saga Furs’ samples were paired with selected textile materials to demonstrate how naturally fur can complement the season’s fabrics, colours and themes.

“The trend area is where designers and sourcing professionals come to discover new materials and find inspiration for their next collections. It was exciting to see real fur included in this context and integrated into the wider textile trends,” Carlson says.

Bringing real fur to the attention of new brands

Saga Furs’ presence at Première Vision Paris was also an opportunity to introduce responsibly sourced real fur to brands that may not currently use the material.

“The main reason we wanted to attend Première Vision Paris was to introduce our farmers’ products to brands that do not yet use fur. In the trend area and at the Saga Furs stand, our team showed how versatile fur is and discussed its potential directly with fashion professionals,” says George Vongas, Business Manager at Saga Furs.

The fur techniques developed at the Saga Furs Creative Hub can give the material different appearances, structures and applications. Combining fur with textiles also opens up opportunities to use the material in new ways and introduce it to designers who may be encountering it from a fresh perspective.

For the Saga Furs team, the event offered an opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, establish connections with new brands and demonstrate the role that real fur can play in the future of fashion.
