The fine art of fusion – Aurora showcases fur innovation in Hong Kong

Aurora continued its forward-looking journey in Hong Kong on November 12–13, bringing fresh energy and innovation to one of Asia’s most dynamic fashion hubs. Saga Furs showcased an exclusive selection of Finnish fox fur samples alongside the new Fur Vision® 2026 collection. The showcase pushed the boundaries of what fur fashion can become.

Designers and manufacturers were invited to explore how fox and mink fur can be reimagined by combining them with leather, knitwear, and advanced textiles. The result? A new wave of possibilities that blends the softness of natural fur with the structure, color, and flexibility of modern materials.

The event drew the attention of key industry players, including the Chairman of the Knitwear and Innovation Design Society, who joined discussions on the creative and technical potential of material mixing. Beyond aesthetics, the conversation also touched on sustainability and traceability, which are essential elements in developing innovative products responsibly.

The Fur Vision® 2026 collection encourages bold experimentation

Guests were particularly inspired by the richness and diversity of the new samples. Many expressed excitement about how the Fur Vision® 2026 collection encourages experimentation, pairing fur with unexpected textures, creating new silhouettes, and opening opportunities for unique, hybrid designs that resonate with today’s fashion consumers.

The most popular item of the Fur Vision 2026 collection was the Brown Mink and Blue Fox bomber jacket. It features an oversized chevron pattern in plucked and full-nap mink and a bold, voluminous Fox collar.

With designers eager to test new combinations and push the limits of craftsmanship, the Aurora Program’s Hong Kong edition reinforced a powerful message: the future of fur lies in creativity, collaboration, and bold material innovation.
