The impact of Covid-19 affected heavily the BLACKGLAMA sale

The sale continued today with BLACKGLAMA, Black, Mahogany and Palomino mink. The offering met again selective buying due to uncertainty in the market and Covid-19.

The sale of BLACKGLAMA male was very selective and was mostly withdrawn as there was no support from Greek market due to the travel restrictions. The BLACKGLAMA female collection was 20% sold, mostly to Korea.

The more commercial types performed better although met still very selective demand. Black males were 16% sold and females 26% sold. American Mahogany had 25% clearance and the intersorted Palomino Classic collection was 30% sold, and the Palomino Velvet collection 10% sold.  China was the main buyer in these types.

The auction will continue on Friday with the sale of Brown minks.
