Taina Pallasvesa, Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration has been appointed as CFO of Saga Furs Oyj and a member of the Management Group as of 29 April 2024. At the same time, her predecessor Juha Huttunen will retire as planned. Huttunen served the company for nearly 37 years, of which the last 15 years were spent as the director in charge of finances and Deputy Managing Director.
Pallasvesa has worked for Saga Furs as the Head of Accounting and Business Analytics since 2019. She has extensive and versatile experience in financial management tasks. Prior to Saga Furs, Pallasvesa worked as a Group Controller in a variety of fields and has experience in board work. In her role, Pallasvesa reports to CEO Markus Gotthardt.
After the appointment, Saga Furs’ Management Group includes CEO Markus Gotthardt, Sales Director Mikko Hovén, Director (HR and IT) Ari Kuutschin, Production Director Sameli Mäkelä, Business Director (brands and international producers) Julio Suarez Christiansen, Business Director (marketing and business relations) Samantha Vesala and CFO Taina Pallasvesa.
