The Chinese market continues to be the dominant buyer

Saga Furs auctioned today European main type males and Palomino mink. Although there was good competition during the day, price level reflects the challenges in the market. As during the other days, the most active buyer was China with support from Turkey.

The 621,000 Brown male minks on offer today were 70% sold, with the regular collection achieving more than 50% sale. Mahogany and Black regular mink collections were also on offer achieving lower clearances than the Browns.

The day ended with the sale of Palomino mink which achieved very high clearances in the female collection, while the males achieved lower clearance percentages especially in the classic collection.

Tomorrow the auction continues with the sale of European main type females and Black Cross.
