Saga Furs auction concluded with increasing prices for Black and Mahogany males

Saga Furs June auction concluded today with a strong selling of Black and Mahogany males. Prices were in general clearly stronger compared with most recent international levels, and increased day by day during the auction. This indicates that the strong price development may also continue.

The offering of Black males was 100 % sold today at 15 % increasing prices compared with our March auction. Mahogany males increased a full 10 % from recent European levels. China continued to dominate the buying, with good support from Korea and Europe.

Saga Furs sold in the auction 3 million mink and over 800 000 fox and Finnraccoon. The value of auction sales was nearly 126 million euros. The auction was attended by over 600 customers from all markets. More than half of them came from China, including again a big number of totally new customers.

We would like to thank all customers for their great support during our June auction. The next Saga Furs auction will be held in 18-23 September.
